What are some good websites and resources for intermediate web-site development?

I used to use front-page back in 2000, but obviously the technology has changed and looking to get back into it. Thanks!

What are some good websites and resources for intermediate web-site development?
You can find out step by step guide on how to create a website at http://oktutorial.com/webdesign.htm .

You can even earn from adsense using your website.
Reply:I don't really remember a time when Front Page was the way to go... Avoid it.

Great resources for web development are:

http://www.actionscript.org/ -- Lots of great Flash tutorials as well as the best Flash forum on the web.

http://www.w3schools.com/ -- Best online reference for code.

http://www.smashingmagazine.com/ -- Links to hundreds of resources on all things web-related.

http://www.smashingapps.com/ -- Loads of free open-source projects.

http://www.alistapart.com/ -- The end-all-be-all web magazine on web theory. Run by Jeffrey Zeldman.

http://www.kirupa.com/ -- Lots of various tutorials on a bunch of different development topics.

http://www.lynda.com/ -- Best tutorials on the web. They're not free but they're worth every penny.

Otherwise I'd say get something like Dreamweaver or just write your code in Notepad. There are plenty of other apps but I don't know any good ones for PC. I'm a Mac user so I use Coda.
